Viv Mitchell, Founder
Vivien Mitchell is the founder of Ribbons and Pearls. She
has worked in a fair few different jobs in her busy life,
as well as bringing up two children. She has lived
in the United States and in Saudi Arabia as well as in
England. Hailing from Rotherham in Yorkshire, Viv
now lives with her husband Richard in Buckinghamshire. For
many years Viv was a magistrate, so you can trust that
she will be fair in all her dealings with you. She
is also always up for a good chat, so if you are unsure
about this whole dress business and want someone to talk
it over with, Viv is the perfect person for you. |
The Company |
Ribbons and Pearls was formed in 2004 as
a business to offer perfect wedding dresses at a price within
your budget. With a mixture of both new Made To Order dresses
and off-the-peg samples, you are sure to find your ideal dress
whatever your timescale. Whether you want to choose from one
of our new dress ranges such as Ronald Joyce, Phil Collins
or Pure by Romantica, or select one
of our many other designer dresses available as samples,
you can visit our shop and have plenty to select from. You can be sure that
choosing your dress will be both a personal and fun experience,
without pressure. |

The Ribbons and Pearls Shop
Our shop is in Cookham,
a charming old-world village in the heart of Berkshire,
on the Thames between Maidenhead and Marlow.
Our staff are friendly, professional
and competent. We want you to recommend us to your friends! We are very
approachable, and as we have advised
hundreds of brides-to-be on their perfect dress for The Day,
