Enhancing your Look Cosmetically

We asked our aesthetic nurse Shahla Moody about the next level of improving your looks. Having started to look after our skin, eating a healthy diet, cutting down the booze and the fags, what if we still look in the mirror and hate what we see? Here is what she had to say.

There is lots of help available to enhance one's look without changing it so much that you are unrecognisable. Generally in youth a healthy lifestyle is enough to look the best we can, but as we get older things start to happen to our face that we can redefine. Here are a few of the worst things that can happen, and their solutions:

• Brow Furrows - make you look permanently cross and can be fixed with Filler into the valley and or Botox injections into the muscle to stop it getting worse.
• Eye Bags - we can now lessen the look of tear troughs with filler and collagen to subtly pad out those hollows and lift the edges.
• Crow's feet - a touch of Filler and or Botox can make them disappear.
• Puckered mouth - lip enhancement does not mean having a mouth like a fish, just enough to make you look and feel kissable.
• Thin Lips - just a little filler into the edge or Cupid's bow can stop you looking mean
• Misery lines - running from nose to mouth and into chin can be filled in and will instantly make you look happier
• Patchy misshapen eyebrows - after years of plucking they can lose their form, but a 3D tattoo will look completely natural and is permanent, so all you have to do is pluck around the edges to keep that great shape, no more uneven eyepencil drawing.
• Skin Tags - these look horrible and can easily be lasered off even from around the eye, eye lashes, neck and throat areas.
• Thread Veins - on cheeks and around nose - be rid of that ruddy complexion and sore nose, forever.
• Random bumps - like red "blind" spots these can be assessed and then easily removed in 9 out of 10 cases without referral from a GP.
